Building A Better Flowmaster

I recently bought a 1 in, 2 out Flowmaster muffler on Ebay. I now have the task of hooking it up to my car. Has anyone got any tips on this project? Lining everything up?

My brother can weld so that's no problem.

I've found a few handy threads for reference:

Here's a pic of my setup. One in/dual out FloPro VForce. One outlet is capped off. I love the sound of it. I have the Euro premuffler as well.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1095561966.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1095562203.jpg

What kind of straps are you using to mount it up?

Morning,
I used Heavy Duty hose clamps, two run together, just to keep it solid.
If you look at the second pic, I had the muffler shop weld a simple L-shaped bracket so the muffler "hangs" from the bracket on the motor plate. I think Jack Olsen was the originator of that setup. Your flange at the cat or premuffler will keep all in place for the most part.
I think better straps could be found with the right resources but mine does not move at all. Hope this helps.
