76 RSR Born Today!
Well a new Baby was born to day at 3:33 PM. He weighed 2200 lbs. CONGRATS! to Jeff the Daddy!
He will get to take him home mid November. He is a 76 RSR made from a 76 911 3.0L Carrera chassis. A name has not been given to this new arrival yet. We have been working on this RSR off and on for the last 3 years. Today we started it for the first time. Ye-Ha Man! I called Jeff and stuck the phone down near ths pipes and reved it up a couple of times. He loved it! So did I! We still have a some more things to do to it like set up the suspension, install the seats, dyno tune and some other details. Here is some pics.

Sorry these are pics I took during the build.
Hmm! I don't have of one of the engine. Oh! Its classified I haven't taken any new ones lately. I will be taking the finished pics in a few weeks I will post them.

Ok, I just have to jump in here and say this Don Ramsey dude from Air Cooled Classics is building some wicked cars!! I don't know him, and have no affiliation whatsoever, but between this car, the red and white RSR, and the C4 project he has going on...I have to say, they look amazing and appear to be done in very good taste!

Thanks Man!  I truly have a real passion for building and restoring these cars. It all started out in my garage at home and was just a hobby. The hobby started in 1971. I am really a mech eng. Officially ACC started in 1988. I thank God every day that I get to have a job that I truly LOVE! I know, I am a very LUCKY SOB. Thanks guys!

Where and in what class is Jeff going to run that beauty? I suspect folks will become familiar with the rear view. Just outstanding.

Jeff will be running this car in PCA and HSR races. Mostly here in the south.
The engine is a 2.8L that was in his old car. His old car was a 72 RS that I turned into the white and red RSR. He will run in GT4R at the PCA races. I think its 3J for HSR. We will be building a new 3.2L short stroke engine for the car here before long. Right now we just want to get him out on the track to have some FUN and learn to drive the car.
