Engine Number ID

I have a 1974 911S that I'm doing a resto on. The engine is out and I have a hunch that the numbers don't match the car. Here's what's on the engine...

Type - 911 / 93

Ser# - 6341984

Any got the data?

Thanks,

Jim - that's a '74 2.7 911S engine with a serial number in the correct range for the year.

Thanks Andy. Thats good to know. There are a couple of things that led me to believe it was actually an earlier engine.
