			This may be more for newbies but... 
		
	
		
	
			
				I've had people tell me that heal/toe will speed up track time. I have always thought "there is no way in Hades I can heal/toe in this car without special pedals" until yesterday. Both the brake and gas pedal are adjustable: Take out the carpet, a 10mm socket and two bolts and the gas pedal is off. One more 10mm nut to take the floor board off (a little wiggling to get it over the pedals). You'll need a 15mm wrench to adjust the brake and an 8mm if my memory serves me correctly) for the gas linkage. I couldn't find my 15mm wrench but remembered there was one in the factory tool kit. Bottom line: If you know which end of a ratchet to hold, you can do this in an hour or so and it makes the driving experience (even in town) so much better. I encourage everyone to do this. Between the two pedals, you can setup the height and distance between the two to your own personal preference.

			Does this adjust the throw, say for the brake, or is simply a placement adjustment.  Does this change the feel from the pedal?  Want to do this to mine.  A pic might be helpful to show what to adjust and how to adjust it.  Just a newb myself.

			It does not adjust the pressure or feel of the brake.  It simple changes the height of the pedal.  By lowering the brake pedal and raising up the gas pedal it is actually possible to make the gas higher than the brake (I don't reccomend this for obvious reasons).  Sorry but everything is already back together but you can find drawings in Bentleys (which is a must-have item if you plan to do any work on your car at all). 			make sure the brake is not too low so that when you lose brake pressure you still have more pedal travel to save your butt... or double pump it fast 
		
	
		
	
			
			
		
		
		
		
		
			it's safer to just mess w/ the gas and leave as much brake travel as possible....safer that way

			l adjusted my brake pedal down several years ago and have had no problems.l have had Porsche owners/tech people comment on how l need to work on my brakes  after they`ve sat in my car and felt the pedal placement. l always just smile,the placement is perfect for me but a huge difference from stock where the brake pedal is 3 inches higher then the gas.

			If you can heel and toe in street driving, your pedals are probably not adjusted correctly to be able to do it at the limit, on a track.
