Question RUF front bumper installation?

Did a search, but didn't come up with the specific answer i was looking for. I'm in kind of a time crunch for this, so i'm hoping someone can help me.

I just purchased the RUF front and rear bumpers from Peter at Rennspeed and dropped them off at my mechanic yesterday for paint and installation. He looked them over and said the rear wouldn't be a problem to install, it just bolts right up.

The front however, he was a little confused about. How does the front bumper attach to the body? He said there doesn't seem to be any obvious bolt on places like on the rear. Could someone send me specific instructions of how they did this, or point me in the right direction so i can forward it to him?

Many thanks for overlooking my ignorance,

-Ian

It uses the four bolts on the bulkhead and then I think there is four or five screws on both sides. The bolts come thru from inside the trunk, the screws go up into the factory holes on the bottom of the fender.

Thanks!!! that's awesome. Hard to tell in the drawing, but is any added hardware needed to mount the new one, or just the parts used from the original, with the drilling of the new holes?

you just need to drill the holes in to the new bumper but also you can add a bumper reinforcement to protect your car on crash situation.

My guy didnt know either. Just take off the original bumper and shocks and use rollcage tubing and make a metal bumper to go in the outdip of the ruf one (Where the rubber smile was on the old one) connect the ends to the bolt holes where the old shocks were. Cover it in foam tubing like a rollcage, but the bumper on and bolt to the existing holes, the rollcage tubing works wonders!
