Question about uploading pics

Once a picture is uploaded, where does it "go"? Is there anyway to manage one's uploaded pictures, or do you just have to keep track of the URLs to reuse them? Is there anywhere to get a list of one's uploaded pictures and the associated URLs? Is there anyway to delete or view one's uploaded pictures?

Onto the Pelican Server

Keep track of the URL

Is there anywhere to get a list of one's uploaded pictures and the associated URLs?
Probably not

Is there anyway to delete or view one's uploaded pictures?
Maybe Wayne or a moderator (if they have rights)

To clear up any confusion:

"Is there anyway to delete or view one's uploaded pictures?"
Maybe Wayne or a moderator (if they have rights)

You can delete the link to your own uploaded file as Steve points out. The image will still live on the Pelican server (unless some type of DB housekeeping removes unreferenced files).

sometimes I'll name the pic in the post. Then a search will find it. I posted my cat with his duck kill pics in OT and named the pic and was shown "random pics" which is 75 pages.

To find your pictures you can actually search under your user name for the string "IMG". it searches the raw code I guess so that has worked for me. No, you cannot delete your uploaded photos, they are on the pelican webserver. However, if you take the [IMG] tags referring to the picture in question out of the post you posted the picture in (by editing), there isn't much of a way for anyone to find the photo in the future.
