wheel spacer question...how will the original bolts not get in the way
I am planning on buying 1" spacers for the rear end of the car but i was thinking ofsomething that didnt make sense , im pretty sure the original wheel bolts on the car are longer than 1", so when I put the spacers on, wont the orginal bolts come out farther than the spacer ?? and that way the rim wont sit flush on the new spacers, instead wont it sit on the excess bolts???? Maybe im way off here, do i cut them (i doubt it)???? Ne one experience this, thanks. Arvin

If you put spacers....you need to re-install new studs...if you go with adapters...you keep the originals ones...

You need to measure the studs that are on the car now and see how long they are. The original studs on a 911 were 45mm I believe, that includes the entire length fro the head on the back of the disk. If they are longer than that, more than likely they will not work with adapters but could work w/ spacers.

There is a hollow in Fuchs and other OEM Porsche wheels that will allow the wheel to be mounted without interfering with the 1/4" or so of protruding stud you will have using 1" adapters. Some aftermarket wheels will NOT have this hollow area, though. TT
