Drilled Rotors - Directional?

I have a set of drilled rotors (purchased from our host) that were recently installed on my Carrera. Investigating a bit of a uneven/premature locking problem with the car it came to my attention that the rotors installed on the car all seem to be "rights". I don't think that this has anything to do with braking performance, but it got me wondering.

The drill pattern on all of the rotors arc or curve in the direction that you would expect to see on the right side of the car. In other words the pattern of holes sweep toward the rear of the car on the right side and toward the front of the car on the left side.

Are these things directional - should I be ranting and raving at Pelican for shipping four "rights" and screaming at my wrench for installing them without comment?

On my 993 there is definitely a set of lefts & a set of rights.

Carrera rotors are not directional.

Some others like 930('78-) are directional.

The difference is the internal vane structure.
