964 decklid wiring

I'm finally getting around to wiring the 964 decklid that I installed a year ago!

I've searched this site extensively, but can't seem to find what I'm after: Where's the best place to connect the power for the autoloc unit? I'd like it to work only when the ignition switch is turned on. Can I hook it up directly to the fuse box in the trunk? My car doesn't have power windows or a/c, so I assume there is a spare spot to hook it up to. Please help, I'm confused!

Thanks

Thanks, I've looked at that before. It doesn't say where to tap in for power.

I located my controller under the dash, and ran a wire up to the fuse panel.

Okay; cool. That's what I'll do.

Does anybody know which side of the fuse to connect to; top or bottom?

Thanks a lot for the help!

The bottom, but verify that, please by removing the fuse and checking for power--Unless you like the smell/smoke of 18 gauge wires burning.

Thanks for the help, I'll get it done tonight.

wanabe: you won't be able to retain the condensor, you'd have locate a new one somewhere else.
