The '73 auction ended early. I bet someone made him an offer he couldn't refuse, and it wasn't $7900!

He told me.

How do you know this? The auction never hit the reserve. Hmm....how do you get all this information?

Look @ the top of the listing
"The seller ended the auction because the item is no longer available for sale." I'm just guessing that means he had an offer outside ebay that he accepted, rather than he simply decided not to sell.

People list cars locally in tandem with ebay all the time.

That's quite a bit. That's flirting with E and S prices. I'm gonna keep an eye on this one. If it doesn't hit $15K, I'll put in a bid before the last sec to see what happens.

Do you really think it's worth what this gentleman wants?

Agreed- he'll never get $23k.

You'll probably get a chance to put a bid in, but I would baulk at comitting to 15k for an early car that I haven't seen in person, or had inspected by a third party. It does look very nice.

The 73.5 is around the corner from where I work. I'm gonna have a look at it. It's being detailed. It sounds original and I know how much he wants for it already.

Do you think $13750 is fair for the sepai brown 73.5 911T?

Probably, if it truly needs nothing & presents as nicely in person as in photos. There aren't many cars around in that shape.

Seems a little strange that it would need an engine rebuild at 70,000 miles.

It seems to be a dealer selling? In which case you'd want to keep the hyperbole feelers out when reading the description.
