Has anyone ever bought a car from Westside Motorsports in Venice, CA? Just wondering how the cars they sell are, they seem to be nice in pictures. They have some nice SC's on their site that I was thinking of taking a look at next week. Thanks

I've bought from them and the transaction was a success.

When I was researching them I got the full range of comments from good to bad experiences.

I hung around their lot awhile and saw some not so nice cars and some not so impressive work being done in their garage.

Like any purchase...know what you want, check the car out thoroughly and go get a PPI. Isn't Otto's a couple blocks away?

I don't like to generalize, but the used car lots in that stretch of Lincoln Blvd are not highly regarded overall. I have worked about 1.5 miles away from there for 15 years and heard plenty of stories. My advice is caveat emptor...be careful.

Yep Ottos is down the road in Venice (near Gold's Gym on Hampton) and can do a PPI if you find a potential winner.

When I was looking for my 911, I look there also. He called me to look at a few cars that had lots of miles on them. Many of them there seem tired. I told them that I wanted a car with low miled on it. Many times. Careful, the mech fix things with a framing hammer. No kidding.

Buying a car from a use car lot is not high on my list. But, there's a guy on Lincoln near the southern end of Marina Del Ray. They're on the East side of the street. he had some very clean cars in there. I think the name is Checker Flag.
