front bumper trim lifting
What holds that black rubber trim down on the front bumper of a 81'?
Its starting to lift and when I look underneath the rubber is ripped and I can see the metal insert. Is it easily replaced? How much is the piece? |

There is a soft iron core that rusts, causing the smile to lift. It's not a big deal to swap them out. There are a bunch 13mm long self tapping srews that hold it on from below.

I have the Gerry Burger article that outlines the "smile" replacement. Let me know and I will be happy to send it your way.
