Electrical Diagram Help

I resently aquired a 1979 SC, I've been working on the bugs that it has. Now Im on the electrical and it looks like there are some Ghetto connections. So Im in need of electrical diagrams if some out there can help me out I would gladly appreciate it.

John, the prob is that the car came with an alarm installed and theres no remote. The alarm was acting up so I desable it. Thing is the previous owner was one of those doit your self guys that dont know jack and install things any way they can. Also the Amp it has has the same type of connections eg. there's a wire using a garage opener for a switch. So I just wanted the Diagrams to check the wiring on the fuse box and the relays. Because I found a relay that was bad and it had a wire bypassing it forcing it to work. So I want to check the wiring. Dont want any surprises.

Porsche Crest

tuner,

Sometimes you can find Bentley manuals for the SC on eBay for a reasonable price ... that would be a starting point.

You might start searching eBay on a weekley basis for a set of factory manuals ... if you intend to keep the car.

Agree with S_Man. No expert on yr to yr. But if you're in a rush, the Haynes manual has 77 and 81 diagrams, and on a spot check there's lots of commonality in the pin-outs/wire colors.
