Warren never fails to surprise me with the information he knows. He is a real asset to all 911 owners worldwide. We need to get together with him sometime!

Thanks for all the help. I can only try to imagine how you amassed such knowledge (and memory) and it staggers me.

(Maybe we can finally see what you car looks like??? ;))

Wow, that's 10% of the total posts isn't it? I'm not great at math...

Warren,

You are my inspiration, thank you. The standards for accuracy and completeness of information that you bring to this Forum set the bar pretty high for the rest of us.

Thanks again and best wishes,
Grady

No BS and no OT, but Warren has left his mark on some here for being lazy, stupid or specualtive in answer when only a fact was appropriate. Including me. My kind of guy. Much obliged, Warren.

Warren might have the most complete library of Porsche info in the country. I'd like to see pics of his shelves and filing cabinets. I'll bet we'd be astounded.

There are a handful of extremely informative posters here and we had a thread bout that not too long ago. Again, thanks to all who provide us with their knowledge.

Warren has helped nearly every regular here. Three Cheers!

What can I say that has not already been said? Though we have never been in the same room together, I am fortunate to call Warren my friend. Five years, no kidding...five years ago, I found this site. It was not nearly as busy as now, but was a Godsend for me, a new owner of a used dream car. And that's where I found Warren. When this Board needed him he was most assuredly "there." He is less active now that the Board is so popular and self-sustaining. But five years ago, it was nearly the "Ask Warren" website.

In addition to Warren's encyclopedic knowledge of all things Porsche, all things regarding historic racing, most things engineering and an AMAZING understanding of electrical stuff, I also have appreciated Warren's unwavering candor. He has at times been misunderstood. I'm happy that he's just brief and direct.

Three cheers for Warren

Thanks for helping me a couple years back Warren.

This board is so great because of the quality and knowledge of it's members. Most every topic has been covered and if something new comes up , so many good views come in for a great discussion. These cars are the better for this.

masraum 10-26-2004 08:01 AM

Excellent, thanks tons! Keep it coming.

It's nice to have someone around to set us straight from time to time.

What can you say about a guy who is a walking computer of 911 knowledge. Not only does he know so much, he's got the
illustrations to match. Incredible. He's helped so many of us
that we all really owe him a debt of gratitute. I'd just like to hear
how he explained Pelican to his new wife for the first time...
I'll bet there's been some interesting discussions on that subject though I'm sure she's very patient with Warren's computer
time. We're all lucky she is.

Thank you for all your help Warren.

speeder 10-26-2004 08:34 AM

He's the best. Thank you, Warren.

He is a no BS kind of guy, sort of like a really good journalist, but sometimes a little snippet of the "personal Warren" slips through, and it's golden. ;)

K. Roman 10-26-2004 08:56 AM

I'd also like to thank Warren for giving me hours of late night reading.

Cheers.

Warren doesn't visit this forum like in the old days. Our loss.
Just where are those 10,000 comments posted?

RickM 10-26-2004 09:16 AM

Here's an ode to Warren from back in 2000! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33960&highlight=informa tive+and+member

One member suggests changing the name of the forum to "Ask Warren" LOL, love it.

Me too! I have a 3 ring binder full of print-outs, sort of a private workshop manual for things pertaining to my car. Many of them are from posts by Warren. So Warren? Thanks for all! :)
