HD Front and Sport Rear - Bilsteins
Just took a spirited test run with my recent upgrade to my suspension and it felt good? I just replaced the rear Bilstein HD's with Sports to complement my 21mm front, 28mm rear t-bars and front HD Bilsteins. This combination feels great on my '83 Cab that is used primarily for spirited street driving and the occasional AX and DE.

Vance,
Did the same on my 85 model car and it felt great as well. Took a few days for the ride height to come down due to the gas filled shocks but really like the combination. JoeA

Can you define "Spirited Street Driving?"

I can't imagine a meaningful drop "due to gas charged shocks" settling down after a few days........these things raise the car and pretty much keep them there unless you do something purposeful...

![]() Didn't settle anytime soon and I had to reindex the t-bars, spring plate adjustment to get it down where I wanted it when I refreshed the suspension

Wil,
It took a while (month or so) and some driving but it never did come down to the same level that I had with the old shocks. That said, it did drop down a bit after a while so I would do nothing as far as ride height until some miles were put on the car. JoeA
