Can you move the seat rails back on the 84 911

I had someone look at my car, and his leg kept getting hit by first gear.

He asked if you could move the seats back further? Is there a way to move the seats back about an 1 or 2 inches?

Michael

I've heard of folks getting the shift lever modified to "lean" the other way. I'm 6'2" and with the seat all the way back, I can't reach the pedals properly.

Adam,

This guy was closer to 6'5", and had some huge legs.

First gear? I would think second gear would be the problem?

Is he really tall? You might be able to solve the problem by an adjustment of the shift linkage to 'move'' the 1-2 plane slightly to the right.

By drilling two holes (can remember if it was front or rear), I was able to move my stock sliders (non-power) back an inch or so.
