Exclamation Regarding Faulty Fuel Tank Sender Unit Is it Faulty????? HELP!!!!!!!

I have bought a new Fuel Tank Sender Unit and after i have it installed in my Porsche 912 with Full Petrol in the Tank but the Meter Shows Only 3/4 Full. So then i thought that it might be my Fuel meter that is faulty but i checked that the meter is working fine with a Volkswagen Fuel sender and it shows Full Tank when Petrol Tank is Full. I have checked the Grounding properly and the Float in the New Fuel Sender Unit is able to move up and down freely. Please Advice!!!! THanks!!!

You either have a faulty new sender or a mismatched sender and gauge.
