How bad does a 964 sound with bypassed mufflers?

Hey everyone,

I was just curious whether or not any 964 owners had bypassed the primary and secondary mufflers on their cars. I'm thinking of doing it to my RSA as it's mainly a track car at this point, and I don't think anyone really makes a good header kit for 964s. Plus it saves 50+lbs behind the rear axle which is always nice.

Still, I was just a little worried it might be too much. My old C2 had just the g-pipe which bypasses the secondary muffler and it sounded great, which I think I will do for sure to the RSA, but I don't know if I should bypass the primary or not since it gets driven on the street a lot. I've heard it's only annoying when you're accelerating hard, but just thought I'd ask for some opinions. Thanks in advance

Andrew

I've run mine uncorked, sounds fabulous, the neighbors won't be happy though, not that that is always a bad thing;)
