Injector o-rings

I found a couple of fuel injectors sitting sloppy in the intakes in my 81 911SC. One had with 1/2 inch movement, so I ordered new o-rings from Pelican. I see where the sleeve o-rings go, but am unsure where the other injector o-rings (K-701-423-40) go.

Do they go inside the sleeve or down in the intake and the injectors press into them?

The old sleeve appears to have an o-ring, but I haven't separated the sleeve yet and the new o-rings appear too small to fit there. I have consulted all my resources and done forum searches but still am not clear. Please advise before I do this incorrectly.

Thanks,SCott

The injector o-rings go between the injector and the sleeve. The sleeve o-rings go between the sleeve and the intake. You will most likely need new sleeves as well, getting them out ruins them, at least in my case.
