What kind of seats are these?

First in a series of questions on the new SC. Please forgive the "dust", this baby's been sitting for a while and I am just getting into her. Anyway the seats are very comforitble, have adjustible everything, heat, etc.. I just cannot find an mfg tag. I know, I know, wash that thing

I believe those are Recaro "early 80's 930 slantnose cocaine dealer" models.

They look like what I think used to be called the Recaro "C" seats. But if they were real Recaros, I'd think there would be some kind of tag or label somewhere on the seats.

We pulled a set of these out of a 930 a mate of mine bought - it only took about 4 people to lift them...

They were, apparently, all the rage "in the day"

LOL I take it they're all show???? Would they be worth anything? I would like to rplace them with some lightweight reclinable racers.

HEAVY, man! Those who complain that early 911 sports seats are overweight really like to "female dawg" about these...

If I remember corectly those seats were like 2500 bucks each in their day. I imagine they would fetch a grand on ebay for the pair. A interior shop could fix them up nicely. Those were the bomb in the Miami Vice era!

I just went out and looked at em again and still don't see a tag or embossment anywhere. They appear to be of very high quality though. Can anyone give me a ballpark on value here? It will help me decide what we could put in there instead.

Thanks, you beat me to the price question. Hmm, now I have to decide if I'm more a Crockett or a Tubbs

Guess I'm the only one that actually likes them However, if they are really that heavy I wouldn't want them.

I actually like em myself, very comfy and still a tight/snug fit. Too bad they're heavy, I really want to put her on a diet.

those are recaros. they have heaters in them- the red dot switch activates them. each one has a pump that inflates 3 different comfort bags. the switches deflate the bags to your liking. they would go well in a truck or van these days

My RUF BTR came with Recaro C’s from the factory. Those are definitely Recaro C's, also known as Classics. These seats are heavy but extremely well built. They were also Recaro’s top of the line seat back in the 80’s. Everything is adjustable on them. The buttons control heat, recline, and inflatable lumbar.

I suspect yours have been reupholstered, I don’t believe Recaro offered them with the perforated centers. This would also explain why they are missing the Recaro logos.

Hmm, lots of options now. I'll see how well they clean-up and go from there. The pics make them look worse than they are, I think the flash amplified the dust

An office chair would be cool, these puppies are comfy! But if I could get decent cash for em I think I'de have to go that route. Thanks everyone for the info!
