Will moving my engine back 2" to fit a long bell housing trans screw up my handling?
1. yes I have room 2. I need the room for a bigger clutch pack 3. engine weight 495lbs ( comparable to 930 @ 510lbs) 4. 31mm Hollow rear t-bars ( changing to coilovers) Thanks Todd

The '78 and later 930's have the engine moved back 1.5", so you'll be basically the same as a 930. It's not an ideal situation, but you'd only notice the handling difference at a track ot autocross.
You'll have more low speed understeer and more high speed oversteer, as well as exaggerated throttle-on understeer and lift-throttle oversteer. But on the street hunting Mustangs, you'll probably never notice.
