911sc oil cooler install?
79sc oil cooler install replacing seals. what can i clean excess oil off with would a carb clean or maybe a contact cleaner? any help would be great thanks again any other air cooled 911 owners in the western mass. area lets get together for a coffe sometime al

Al,
Front or fender mounted oil cooler? Gunk and the quarter spray car wash works pretty good. Smells funny for a day or two but goes away.

Plug it off and take it to the car wash with a handful of quarters....

PD-680 or stoddard solvent or dry cleaning solvent (all the same thing) is the drug of choice for cleaning. used in parts cleaner machines, fairly cheap and no smell. good GP cleaner.
