'79 SC came without a front license plate frame bracket. Picked up the bracket, 4 "spped nuts" and 4 screws from Porsche Parts, but they had no diagram on how to install.
From comparing it to the car, don't see where all the parts would be used. Anyone have a photo or diagram (or good description)?

Mine front valance has 2 rectangular holes in it. There are spring metal pieces that snap into the holes. Sorta like speed nuts but different. I think there is a big rubber washer that goes between the bracket and the valance. The screws are 2 sheet metal screws with hex heads.
My guess is this setup will last a little longer than just bolting the bracket on the valance. Do you have the rectangular holes?

Yep, two holes with plastic inserts-to accepts screws I presume. The holes in the valance mate up with the holes in the wider part of the central support.
Here is what the parts counter gave me: ![]()

Simular looking speednuts go into the valance except I think their bigger.
Mine had plastic speed nuts for the license plate screws. So I think you need 2 speed nuts, bolts /screws, rubber washers They should be able to show you the picture when you go back. Luck!
