spark plug wrench size

OK Here is the newbie 911 owner silly question of the day.
What size socket is used to pull the plugs on a 72 2.4 liter?

Long story but my sockets are elsewhere and I need to borrow one from a friend....

THanks
Maze

Maze,

If your factory tool kit is somewhat complete, you may have a spark plug wrench already that is custom tuned to be used in your car.

Some pictures of them are here: OEM spark plug tool for 911

Tab and Harry,
Thank you both very much for your kind replies to my newbie question.
Im impressed by the many solutions offered for plug tools.
I like the idea of a remover with a magnet.

Just curious, in recent history, has there been another other size except 13/16 and 5/8 for plugs?
