How to install 911 carpet?
I am proud owner of new, German Velore, carpet for my 73 911 E. Now the hard part. Anyone know how to install it, type of glue to use, any particular order of laying the peices that works best or any other tricks to the trade: Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Chris 73 911 E |

I hate it when people do this (tell people to search), but there really is a lot of info on carpet installation in the archives. More than you'll ever need.

Many of the pieces should be the same as the RS carpet, except you'll be missing a few where the rear seats and deck go. |

Take your time on the kick panel installation where the vinyl fits in with the rubber seal.
Installing a carpet kit isn't too difficult. I did the carpets in my last 911, a 78 targa. The worst part was stripping the old glue.

Chris,
Did you get your set on ebay from Classic Car Carpets? If so, they sent me a pdf with full install instructions which I can send to you. PM me with your email if you want them.
