Question '72 tank, need some pics of parts

Hello all,

I'm working on a 72 oil tank, and i don't have all the parts at my disposal (or the car for that matter). Anyone who has worked on a 72 oil system, i have a few questions:
-How does the tank keep from rubbing against the side of hte sheetmetal? Is there a rubber gromet that attaches to the inner wheel well?
-Does the 72 have a different stamped sheet metal inner wheel housing? Or is everything needed for mounting the oil tank just added to the same sheet metal for the '69-'89
year cars?

I'm in need of any pictures of 72 oil tank with all the fallowing parts:

- The tank complete.
-Any gromets that hold the tank from rubbing the side of the wheel well.
-The metal strap that holds the tank.
-The dip stick.

Any help will be much appreciated. Don.

The tank uses a pair of plastic 'dish' shaped inserts to buffer it from the sheetmetal. They are about 1.75" across.

Not sure about the rest of the issues.

Item 20 in the above figure is called a spacer in the 72-73 factory parts catalog; it's part number is 91120730700 and three are required per tank. Pelican can order them for you (they're now called a retainer) for $2.00 each. Cheers, Jim
