OEM Finish for Hard Brake Lines
Does anyone know what the OEM finish is for the hard brake lines on a '73? I've bead blasted and polished the lines for my RSR clone project and I am wondering if I need to do anything to prevent them from coroding. It appears that they may have had a yellow or clear zinc plating applied. Should I have them replated?

It *looks* like a zinc chromate sort of finish, but I don't know exactly what they did.
