searching for air-scoop for cooler/brakes
Does anyone make an air scoop to replace the missing light on this front pic.
I've seen the ones that fit further outboard but for some reason just don't care for them. Thanks in Advance, Jay ![]()

I've posted here several times trying to get the side marker lights re-configured to work as turn-signl lights....maybe even move the T/S over to the side as shown....to allow direct coolong air to hit the oil cooler.
Is that what you've done? Still visible from front? Wil

Yup, I wired the outboard lights to work as turn-signals. It worked well enough that it passed the safety inspection.

Jay,
How about removing the guts from the former turn signal housing, opening up the back, fastening some expanded metal screen to the face of it, and putting it back in place? This is what I did to my fog lamp housing to create an inlet. Sorry I don't have a pic for you.

Paul, that sounds a whole lot easier than fabbing up something out of fiberglass or sheet metal.
Thanks for the idea, I'll give it a try and post pics when/if I get it done. Jay

Good luck. I'm assuming it was a fairly straightforward wire swap to get the side markers to blink. Do they still come on solid @ night and then flash for the turn, or do they stay off and then flash when needed (like normal for turn signals)? What are you doing w/ the passenger's side? Do you have a cooler there too?
