Got weighed...

Ok, I just went and got the 911 weighed. The guy working the scale wasn't being very cooperative; no sooner had I parked on the scale, and before I could even get out, he comes on the intercom and say "Ok, you're done," so he ended up weighing the car with me in it. I was freezing my butt off and didn't feel like arguing.

2240#, minus my fat a$$ is 2005#, with roughly 1/2 tank of gas.

I can improve on that, at least until I have to add a cage and windows...

Sweet. Amazing, all of that engine and those tires in a package 300lbs lighter than my miata must be amazing.

Cool

Having repaired scales for a living, I can sympathize with your feelings. Scale operators in general are jerks.

Those doors and top make you look svelte.
You're going for the primer look of the Excellance 930, huh? That will KILL at the track and on the street.

I gotta say, Thom, I think <2000 is a major milestone to shoot for. Of course that may not be easy to do since you have some stuff to add back in, but still... That's freakin' awesome, man!!!
