Recent post about a dropped valve ending a race?

I'm trying to find it, and my search/memory skills are coming up short. As I recall, there was a pic of a valve head embedded sideways in the port.

If anyone can find it, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Hey, you're out there racing, I'm here typing. More power to you. To be honest, I just wanted the pic of the valve carnage for my desktop. Much respect to you for being on the track, and my sympathies for the mishap. Thanks for the link.

Jared

Jared,

Thanks for that. I'm over the crap-fest that was that event and planning the rebuild as we speak. The wounds are still pretty fresh though...

ps: I'm keeping the head and plan to mount it trophy style with a small "No, I didn't over rev it!!!" plaque
