How to set up a PPI?

I'm completing 20 years of research to finally to buy an '87-'89 coupe.
How do you set up a legit PPI in an area hundreds of miles from home?
Also, what kind of experience has anyone had with SloanCars?

Thanks,
-Bud

-Post a question here on Pelican asking for recommendations for a PPI in (city, state). Hopefully a fellow pelican has experience with a local mechanic.

-If that fails, go to PCA.org regional directory and call or email the membership contact person for that area that covers the seller. They can provide you with some trusted shops.

Then just call the shop and arrange an appointment for the seller to bring the car.

Good luck.
