What will the 911 get from Santa?

1 - A new 930S wheel?
2 - Maybe some newly RSR finished fuch's from All Reed ?
3 - New light weight ( black leather ) door panels?
4 - New suspension? (front now and rear in a month)

What would be on your 911's Santa wish list?

For me, the treat is two track events in January, instead of just one. Alfa-Romeo Time Trial January 8-9, and Open Track Racing on January 19.

A 915 transmission to replace the '70 901 with the broken clutch fork bolt. The 901 will be donating its Quaiffe LSD to the 915. "While we're in there", the engine will have its oil leak fixed too.

Caution! Caution!

Several years ago I had a 944 turbo. My wife ordered me a hand painted set of Fuch wheel centers. Very nice gift.

Six months later I sold the car and forgot to reinstall the old wheel centers.

I STILL get grief about this and she refuses by buy me Porsche parts for Christmas.

But (in case she's reading the PP BBS) she did buy me "Excellence was Expected last year and that will not be sold with the car!

So, FWIW...

I'm going to do a homemade effort of putting some of that houndstooth fabric into my interior, and if I get a hold of some black alcantara I'll do the dash too.

First year for a Porsche in my driveway. I already bought christmas presents, it got a brand new interior, body work and paint job. Still need to buy a motor but the one in it is good till next fall when I will start looking for a replacement.

PS: This is what it looked like when I bought it. It is still in the body shop I will post those pictures when I get the car back.

Turbo Tie Rods
New Front tires
Rebuilt brake calipers
SS Brake Lines
Fuel Filter
An alignment for the car when done.

Ok, this is going to occur even if Santa forgets about the SC this year.
My birthday is in the spring. Happy Birthday to me!
