Simple wheel question

On the link below, there is a picture of a wheel above the category for "928 Parts." Are these stock 928 wheels? I ask because i might look at a 911 with them on it. I don't really like the look and am wondering if these were ever a stock 911 wheel or if a previous owner made the switch. (I plan to ask but want to be armed with infor before doing so.)

THanks

Those wheels are indeed 928 wheels (and 944 {turbo} too) used from 1980-1989. Good wheels- they're forged.

But they are not the proper offset for a pre-89 911. So bolt-on wheel spacers are used to make them fit the pre-89 911.

The 928 disks will fit a 964 (89-94) car though. The offsets are close enough to 964 stock #'s to make them fit. Probably look a bit odd though. You didn't mention what is the year of the car that's wearing the 928 wheels, so that's why I mentioned the 964 fitment issue
