Battery Box Rust

Well I was doing my brakes this weekend, when I realized that I had a lot of rust. This was from Battery acid. So I Replaced the Front Pan and glued in a new one.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1104886124.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1104886139.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1104886150.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1104886165.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1104886178.jpg

Was that the 3M structural adhesive you used?

Wow! How did you glue that? I though that would have to be welded. Good looking repair!

With that much rust around the suspension pickup point you might want to check in the cross member between the suspension points. Hopefully you won't find what I found there...

I replaced the whole suspension clip in the front. I did weld it in. I finished it off with 3m seam sealer to prevent rust.
