Vibration from the rear at 45 & 90, any one have experience?
I've got a vibration from the rear of the car that occurs at 45mph and then again ~90mph. I replaced the rear tires and no big change. I do know that the CV's were showing some signs of wear when I had them out a few months ago. This vibration is mild at 45 but offensive at 90. Any ideas?

Same vibration at twice the MPH is usally a sign of out of balance wheel. If you're sure it's not a wheel balance, I don't know. Don't know if a bad shock would do that.

45 is half of 90. Hmmmmm interesting. Sounds like your tires need to be balanced. If that doesnt work, you might have a tire that is out of round.

Rear wheel bearing. Does the vibration lessen when turning left or right at speed?
