Turbo! =o)

I would strongly suggest passing this deal onto your neighbor to the north. SmileWavy

If it was my decision, I would keep the two Porsches; compared to your cars, the ' 76 turbo is vastly different, both in handling and engine performance. You should also test drive the turbo to see whether you can accept the car's inherent turbo-lag and also the narrow usable power band. Also, note that the more complex turbo engine could increase your future engine maintenance expenditure.

Turbo, Turbo, Turbo!

P.S. (Any luck with the notes?)

LOL ROFL!!! Jim, that is too funny. I've requested the notes and they are supposed to come within 4 weeks.

What does you wife say? I don't have one, perhaps the only reason I am able to have the cars. The Albert Blue is very nice!

Thanks everyone for your good thoughts and advice! I do need to drive it, that's for sure; with it snowing, sleeting and freezing rain here today, not sure when that will happen, but the owner is in no hurry to sell the car, so I've got a little time.

i'd go for the turbo if it were original, and get a cheap daily driver.

but since its not stock, i'd use it daily or pass........

I asked her, and she said keep what you have because the wheels on the turbo are cheesy. She also said, "he's probably realizing he doesn't need two cars," which is directed to a particular audience, of course.

That silver '69 sure is classy. Tough call. Really, this is a variation of the familiar question: what is the best all-around daily driver 911? And one way to find out is to try them all out.

Yikes! No spare Porsche?????

What will you drive when the 930 needs work? ;)

The turbo is probably worth 18-22 tops the targa is worth around 12-15 the early car is worth around 6-10 The early turbos had bad lag although nice looking id stick with what ya have. Its your call ultimately but that early car feel will be surely missed.

Interesting. Here's my take

Turbo is worth $25K

Carrera is worth $12

E is worth $10K
