Parts look excellent. Question.....did they shot or media blast the parts or did you strip 'em down first?

They did a media blast to all of them. I did all of the engine tin, cross motor mount and the lower valve covers. Should look great in the car and stay looking good for a long time.

Did they do the black PORSCHE lettering on the valve covers? If so, how did they do it?

I'm not sure on the exact color. I could call and find out...
The lettering was done by me, by hand, with an acrylic enamel paint. The PC guy said it was basically impossible to do the letters in a PC. They would have to be masked individually. The hand paint was the best option...

Hey just a reminder, Make sure that the valve covers are flat after the powder coating. The heat will warp them (ask me how I know) You can sand them flat with sandpaper layed on top of a piece glass. If they are warped and you don't fix the problem, You are the grand prize winner of OIL LEAKS

We did something similar to a customers car last year.
One thing to watch for with PC valve covers is marring of the powdercoat - particularly around the holes. Also, the PC tends to "suck up" oil and grease. AFJuvat
