Race Gas in San Diego
I know, I know. . .I shouldn't allow my computer to crash and burn. I also know I should back-up all my files. Completed an in-depth search on Pelican for the answer to this question (previously), and couldn't find it. So, what's the name of the station off Mission Gorge that sells race gas? Mr Tweed and the ever-present Mr Olsen are welcome to respond as you have already answered this question. . .What a dumb-a$$ I am. . .
Edited to correct the Pelican spelling. . .It keeps getting better. |

What ttweed said. I have gone to Cosby Oil off Fairmont, near the Stadium. They carry both Sunoco 100 unleaded and 110 leaded. The 100 unleaded isn't cheap though. It was around 7.00/gal last time I was there. Ouch! If you don't have an O2 sensor you can run the 110 leaded and it's cheaper by about a buck a gallon.
Many off road shops in North County carry VP racing fuel. There is also a shop off Prospect in Santee that I am aware of. Where in San Diego are you?

Thanks for the answers, guys! Here in Bonita, there's no one who acknowledges the word "race" for anything (excepting the RRs, and you know who I mean). As I have a Hall Tech, I need the 100, can't use the 110. At 7/gal, that's just about Watkin's Glen prices. . .no biggie! Again, thanks for the info!
