Wow - GeorgeK, what a fabulous car!
My rear bumper needs some work anyway (due to corrosion of the aluminium) and I'm so tempted to go down this route. |

Some tips I learned from my successful bumperette removal: I held down the ends of the rubber strips with a black annodized, self tapping screws. My car is silver/metallic, so I used hot dipped galvanized round head bolts in the bumperette holes (almost a perfect color match, and reversable for running Stock in PCA autocross). License lights were replaced with LED's. Two good choices: LITE'N BOLTZ (do a search) and www.cfrlights.com (the ones I used). A fun, low-tech winter project.
