Brake line bender
Hi Guys! I am going to have to make new brake lines for my 911S. I bought the lines - they are straight with pre done flares and fittings on them. I have never bent lines before but I bought a tool to do it.
Anybody out there ever done it? Any advice? Thanks!

Yes, many times!
Get both of these tools, and you will be prepared for most situations: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ProductDisplay/s-10101/p-909/c-10101 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=3755

Here's a little trick I use. I crawl under the car and make a prototype of the line with a piece of brass welding rod (or in a pinch coat hanger wire) first. Get it bent exactly the way you want it and then go back to your workbench and copy it with the tubing.

I just added another favorite for close quarters work to the previous post! Not so great for duplicating a measured angle, but for a line already in place, clamped and bolted down ... it works great!
