Early 911 seats
Re: Early 911 (1972/1973) seats. Is there a left and right front seat design or are they both the same. Is the seat positioned so the small lever at the bottom of the back rest intended to be on the inside near shift rod tunnel or on the outside near the door. Thanks - EP Slick

I have a 70 that had stock seats in it at one time. If memory serves me well I would reach down with my right hand and release the lever. Given this is an international forum the car is a left hand drive. I don't know about the passenger side as I never ride, always drive.

The lever to release the seat back to allow entry to the rear seats(?) is to the out side. So is the lever for adjusting the seat back rake. I think the seat cushions themselves can be interchanged if you dissassmble every thing far enough
