Need Part # For Overboost

Does anyone have a part # for the overboost sensor for a 88 930 and does pelican stock it?

Hi Don. The P/N for the overboost switch is 930 606 101 00. It looks like it's a special order item from Pelican. Wow, and it only costs $8.86. That's cheap for a 930 part!

Here's a link to the Pelican Parts description:

Thanks Brian, I guess this is the one that the white wire attaches to and it screws in like a bolt. Don

Yes, that's the one. It's readily accessible once the intercooler is removed. Here's a photo showing its location on the by-pass plenum:

You can get an adjustable one from NAPA. I use it on my race car. I will try to dig up the Part number.

No. Very very seldom. It's mostly wire-loom that's faulty. This switch is wired in series with fuel-pumps so any fault will cause power to pumps to be cut.

i mentioned in your other thread on the subject that you can ground the white wire temporarily to bypass the switch. if the car doesn't die all the time, then the switch is the problem. this is only a test.
