You need to take each piece out of your car and label them as you remove them. Then match them with the new piece.
You will find that you have a few pieces that may not look exactly the same but there is some cutting and fitting involved. I did mine with the appbiz kit and posted some pics. If it will help I will try to search for them.

Here is a link to the thread, although I am not sure how helpful it will be. You should be able to seperate the mats and the center hump piece. Then try to seperate the pieces that go at each door sill. You will have one big piece that goes on the rear deck. You will find some pieces that you may or may not need. Some areas may be upholstered with vinyl or leather that the carpet piece was cut for
Also being a targa yours will differ somewhat. Anyway I hope this helps. New carpet and...

I got my Targa carpet kit Appbiz also. The best thing to do is just trial fit the carpet and move pieces around until you have it figured out. It won't take long. Just remember, the pieces with the finished edges go on top of and unfinished edges.

There is a Pelican tech article on interior restoration that goes through the entire procedure step by step.

I believe it is for an RS. Not a targa. But I have moved the pieces around I think I am close.
