dashlight led's...anyone figure this out?

i read some old posts, but there didnt seem to be anyone who figured out how to connect them up, has anyone made any progress on replacing the original bulbs with led's?

If you are talking about replacment LED bulbs for BA7S bulbs then kellzey has some made in China and was selling them. Bairdc3 has taken over selling the bulbs. Do a search for these members and you'll find a link in bairdc3's sig.

The LEDs work great! THey aren't much brighter than the stock, but the colors are nice. Has anyone figured out how to add extra bulb sockets to the gagues? If you could add one or two more LEDs to each gague, it would make them much brighter. I would like to try it, but I'm scred to start drilling holes into my VDO gagues since I don't know what's inside there.

I would not recommend just drilling holes in the housing as there is more to it, the way the bulb mounts to the housing for starters, but it you take a look at some of the tech articles about gauges you can get an idea of what's there and what you may be up against:
