Heater hose install/ AC removal question
Hello all,
I'm getting ready to change out the heater hose that runs under the AC unit. Do I need to disconnect the battery before I move the AC unit out of the way? Thanks for any info. |

No, do not disconnect anything, including hoses; just remove the bolts holding the AC Compressor in place, then "swing" it to the right and onto the rear fender (after you have placed a thick towel or pad under the compressor). The hoses allow lots of "give" so you can do this.
There should be nothing that will short out by doing this, so don't really have to disconnect your battery (and thus lose your radior settings, etc).
