I just spent a lot of time in that 6x15 Fuchs market. The best deal I saw was five that sold for $600 shipped. That was a "make offer" deal and I wasn't quite ready. My loss. I ended up paying $600 for four from a board member. He's going to arrange delivery to Al Reed's shop at that price.

I think a lot depends on the condition. I had several parts houses from around the country send me photos of wheels that were in "great condition for their age." Well, if they need to be refinished then it's going to cost another $500. The dismantlers want $150 to $250/wheel even if they need refinishing.

Wheels that are "just a little faded and scratched" still need to be refinished. I would have paid much more for a set that was ready to install. As it is, I know mine will be nice when they're done - they're just going to cost several hundred more than I was hoping to spend.

Here's a set that closed on ebay for $710:

A set of four at $565:

What are the part numbers?

$600 is probably right, but if they're deep sixes they're probably worth closer to $1200.

I bought two for $100 each a few months ago. I'm sure I could've had them for less but didn't want to beat up the seller.

Good point. If the part number is 901 361 012 06 then they're "deep sixes" and worth around $300 each.

Might have to clean them up a bit, but should see them in the back. You should be able to notice the little fox stamp on them too.

The numbers/info is down in the "bottom" of the petal. Take a look at the pic above - that's the back side of the wheel and the flat spots on the upper and lower right are where the studs go through the wheel.

Deep sixes are not the best for tubeless tires....some can get away w/o a tube. They look nicer than the flat sixes. Especially when fully polished....

$500 for a quick sale - $600 if you're not in a hurry......Some ask more, but don't seem to sell very quickly........ (If anyone is interested, I'll trade one deep six for 2 "15 x 6").....
