What glue to use?
I will be putting the door seals in this weekend.
Also some of the vinyl on the door pillars and the windshield frame. Can anyone tell me what kind of glue to use in the two spots? I figure it is two types of glue, one for the seals and one for the vinyl Thanks Derek ![]()

Door Seal Glue
I used a weather stripping glue from 3M. Good stuff, think it was recommended from other on the board. Only complaint I have is that the stuff I bought is an off orange color that stands out if you have any excess around the edges. Not sure if they make a clear or black.

For the vinyl use 3M Super Spray Adhesive. Get the highest number you can find, either 85 or 90. For the weather strip get 3M weather strip adhesive. The stuff I use is black. Comes in a tube. Most auto parts stores carry both.

The 3M Rubber Seal glue comes in black and works great.
