Now That's A True Porsche Friend
A good friend of mine who owns a wrecker service, and who by the way is the only mechanic that I would trust to work on my car, just ordered a new twin cab ramp truck. The best part of this ramp truck is he bought the "Porsche Option". That's right there is an option when you have the truck built that is actually a Porsche option. The option includes padded tie downs that go through the wheels to tie down the car so that no suspension items get damaged while in transport. The option also includes a different ramp so that there is no need to use blocking to receive the low clearance car onto the truck. And I'm the only one that has a Porsche that he knows. Now that is a good friend.

That's nice. I had to get hauled on a wrecker last year when I lost a tire at Texas Motor Speedway, and screwed up my rear valance a bit on the way up the ramp.

I know how that feels.
My bestfriend who I grew up with, is the only who fixes all my cars. |
