Instead of foglights...
After messing around with my foglights I decided to remove them and this is what I came up with.
Not the greatest closeup but you get the idea.

I had done the same with mine. You may also want to make sure that the area under the cooler is sealed as well. That way the air only has one place to go, through the cooler.

Yeah I plan on ducting it to the cooler but I was just experimenting with it. I took the plastic housing from the foglight and reversed it so it acts as a scoop. It is a little hard to pick up in the pick but I like it.
