For PMO Guys Only........

I've read all the searched threads and I'm going to PMO's....what setup are you running with 40's on a 3.0 (Cams, Pistons, Distributor...etc.)....

I believe I can start from the carbs down and configure my set up as I go (budget purposes)...........

Richard will suggest a dizzy timing curve and jetting. Just tell him your routine.

basically you have a big cam choice if you change pistons. if not then the 20/21 cams that Superman uses seems to be a go.

3.0L
10.5:1 comp
ported/polished heads
GE 60 Cams
Crankfire ign - soon to be twin-plugged

early headers and early muffler - pay attention to this. This caused me LOTS of headache trying to use something other that was not a good match with the PMOs

46mm PMOs w 140 mains, 55 idles, 110 idle air

Randy and Ronnin are on point - fax Richard and he'll call. Talk to him about what you want to accomplish before you spend a dime. He knows his stuff hands down.

Hey Gary,
I was wondering about your yellow foam air filters. Are these the ones sold by MotorMeister (no slam on you). What can you tell us about them?

Thanks,
Sherwood

I read some pro theory on K&N. He said that the only good test of K&N is on an operating engine. The same filter will perform differently on a vibrating engine. Something to do with the oil molecules on the filter. This guy teaches high end auto to engineers and has tons of pro publications. He has his own chair at an East Coast college.. whatever.

Yup! You're right. And MFI is one of those things!
